One such occasion that reminded me how blessed I am happened a few weeks ago. It was at the album launch of one of my oldest friends. Susie and I have known each other since primary school. We both played music and sang and we were both going to singers/actresses when we grew up. Turns out that was only half true.
Susie and her sister Laura, who is also amazingly musically talented, have just released the most beautiful album. Full of humour, achingly honest and with a narrative style all their own I couldn't help myself but gush after seeing them perform it live at the recent launch.

I think Meremba is my favourite song off the album, but then I have been honoured enough to actually visit the place that this song pays tribute to so maybe I'm biased. A very close second is Sunny though.
